Gentlemen. The Mini-NES Is Going To Sell Out Fast. Want One? Do This.

Gentlemen. The mini-NES is going to sell out in all stores. If you want to get your hands on your own mini-NES, follow our orders. This is your mission…

We Nintendo fans are going to go nuts tomorrow. The Mini NES hits stores November 11th in North America. But it’s not available for pre-order anywhere.

You know what that means.

It means we’ve got to grab a Mini NES fast before they sell out. It’s that Black Friday rush-down. And we love it. Nothing makes us more hype to play games than having to bat off twenty old ladies to get our hands on what we want.

The price of the Mini NES is $59.99 and it comes with 30 games pre-installed (we’ve dropped the list below for you).

When the mini-NES hits, Nintendo fans are going to be hitting online stores fast enough to make them shut down faster than the Canadian Immigration site on US Presidential Election Day.

And all this rush is thanks to Nintendo.

Yeah you, Nintendo.

You intentionally made it so there can be no pre-orders of the mini-NES. Because, you wanted people to have to rush to get one. You want people to hit Amazon and other stores so hard they crash sites. That way, when the blogs report that the mini-NES crashed online stores, you’ll be able to say, “It’s so popular it crashed the retailers”. Free PR. Genius. Well played, Nintendo. Well played.

So, the mini-NES is going to sell out. Pre-orders are a no-go. What do you do?

Get your butt to one of these stores tomorrow and grab you mini-NES:

Best Buy: Best Buy will have the mini-NES on launch day. We asked Best Buy when they would start taking orders. They laughed and told us they would keep quiet about it. Yep; they won’t tell us when you’ll be able to place an order.

GameStop: GameStop won’t let you pre-order the mini-NES (you seeing a pattern here). They’ll have different bundles available. One comes with a second controller, one with a retro NES book, and one with both of those things.

Nintendo Store, New York:  This is the pace to be, which is why I’m getting a private jet down to the store tonight. At midnight, the Nintendo Store will have a launch party for the mini-NES. But weirdly, there won’t be many mini-NES’s available at the store. Party kicks of 9pm. See you there?

Target: Nothing special here. But they will have them available.

Toys R Us.

Amazon, obviously.

Gentlemen, those are the targets. Get to one of those stores tomorrow. And in case I need to remind you why you need a mini-NES, take a look at the preinstalled games list below.
